Too expensive

I love the free version and just came to the App Store to buy the full version. Based on reviews, it looks like it used to be $3.99. Now it’s a $19.99 annual subscription? I’m not certain what service I’m subscribing to? A few features that are unblocked? I’ve seen personalized exercise video subscriptions that are cheaper.
