Productive - Habit Tracker App Reviews

Nice , but...

It’s a very nice app and I would love it except for one thing. I have more habits than I can count and apparently more than I can input in the app without needing premium. I repeat, there IS a limit to how many habits you can have. Otherwise, very good concept and app!

Excellent

Great practical app to follow up on the essentials and remain focus and oriented on goals??

Loved Balanced, not a fan of subscription

Im REALLY not a fan of the subscription model - I would rather pay for an app with unlimited habits and no ads. Right now, the adverts are incredibly annoying and actually ruins the experience of an otherwise lovely app, especially since I was such a huge fan of Balanced and IIRC even paid for that one to be advert-free for life. However, I actually prefer the way Productive splits the day into parts - one of the biggest issues I had with Balanced was that it made it impossible to organize tasks manually or by specific times of the day. Will work with this for a bit until the adverts start being too intrusive, then will delete unless theres an option to pay a one-time fee for this app. Just not worth the pop ups and ugly adverts to ruin the otherwise perfect minimalist aesthetic this tries so hard to maintain.

Don’t want to pay

I saw this app and wanted to try it. I like it but I don’t like that I have to pay for a subscription to have more than a few habit reminders. So I’m going to delete and just use the one that came on my phone or write my stuff down. Not going to pay 3.99 a month for it. I really did like this app...

Super hopeful!

Loving it so far and how it think it will help change my life!?

Spam you for in-app subscription purchase

I opened the app, and was immediately prompted to subscribe. I canceled the subscription box, navigated through their tutorial and it prompted me again. I closed the app and opened it later and was alerted to allow advanced notifications, pressing ok prompted me to upgrade to the paid subscription. I don’t have a problem with subscription based services, but I won’t use an app that gets in your face and screams “subscribe right now”. Deleted it and went to another app instead, that didn’t spam me. I subscribed to it instead.

Great experience

Nicely built app with a great user experience.

A game changer.

Simple habits like the ones I use this app for are the foundation for success. I could not be more pleased with an app.

Not worth the money

This is an app that should be free, it is not providing any kind of service that is worth $4 a month. It’s not a very advanced app, it is literally just tracking how many times you do something at a specific time of day. A middle schooler could make an app better than this. I would understand if it cost like a dollar to buy the premium app or something, but there is no way that a simple app like this could be worth $50 a year. Don’t waste your money, there are better and cheaper apps than this. I would recommend the app “Done”

Really bad billing design

People tend to install apps without reading the small texts or EULA. I was really surprised to see an automatic annual subscription being activated after the 7-days-trial then I came back and read the EULA. By the time people realize that, they already paid 20$ for an app they are not even going to use. I do think you should just stop the subscription after the trial period and ask the user to manually approve a paid subscription.

Great app, really well organized

It takes a couple of minutes to fully figure out but once you do it’s great. Definitely recommend

STOLE MY MONEY - DONT DOWNLOAD

As per their rules, I went to iTunes to turn off the auto renew function so that I would not be charged after a week of trailing the premium features. I just had my bank statement come in and they have charged me for a YEAR subscription. Really just so disappointed that companies have to use such slimed tactics to get money. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

I like it!

I think this app is really cool because it helps you to hold yourself accountable to your own standards. The only reason that it is not ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is because you can only have 3 goals without paying.

Really cool app

I like the app and the controls are fine except I had a little trouble learning how to setup my tasks but now that I’m used to it is fine.

Wonderful task tracker

Simple, easy to use, & aesthetically pleasing. My favorite feature is the ability to specify the number of times a task should be completed each week. With other apps you specify a frequency or which days of the week. To my mind, it makes more sense to say "clean the litter box 3 times each week" than every 2 days exactly or every Mon, Wed, Fri. This is one of the very few apps I was willing to spend money on.

Nice but...

There are free apps that do the same things. If there were a “one time” fee option... $20 or so I would buy. Not going to do a renewable subscription...ever.

Looks ok but the fee bites

I like the idea of this app but you only get to try it for seven days before paying a monthly fee. Their response is that you can cancel the fee but that is not apparent when you are signing up by which time I have lost interest and have deleted it.

There should be an option to buy the app instead monthly or annual subscriptions.

It’s a good app and can’t complain much. I would even the purchase the app. However being that it’s a subscription has me walking away and look for other options. 19.99 a year is quite expensive even as a purchase and would like to see the developer offer a more reasonable one time price. If you guys ever do. Let me know I’ll be the first in line. I guess it’s back to Habitica.

I loved your app but not so much now.

I wish I could use your app because it was helpful but now that you’re asking for a subscription as well as other apps now I can’t afford it due to my budget.
